DOMA Partners with Milk and Honey Distillery

The Consulate General of Israel to the Southeast launched a historic whiskey collaboration with the Distillery of Modern Art in Chamblee and the Milk and Honey Distillery of Israel in honor of America’s 250th birthday. Established in Tel Aviv in 2014, the Milk and Honey Distillery is Israel’s first ever whiskey distillery.

An award-winning distillery, they combine traditional whisky-making techniques with innovation suited to Israel’s unique climate, and its whiskies are now available in more than 40 countries. In 2023, the distillery’s Elements Sherry Cask was named World’s Best Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards.

Earlier in July, a reception hosted by Consul General Eitan Weiss officially unveiled the collaboration in honor of the friendship between America and Israel. The “Shared Values, Shared Spirits” event brought together leaders from the political and business communities and local community members. The project will consist of 250 limited edition bottles combining a preview of the blend from the two distilleries, and the final blend will be ready in December.

“As the United States celebrates its 250th Independence Day, this collaboration is a fitting tribute to the enduring friendship between Israel and the United States,” said Weiss. “When innovators, entrepreneurs and artisans come together, they create work that reflects the shared values, creativity, and spirit of partnership that have long defined the relationship between our two nations,” he continued.

“Beyond the significance of the collaboration itself, it also highlights the kinds of experiences travelers can engage with in Israel,” said Lorin Maugery, consul director for the Israel Ministry of Tourism, Southern Region. “From Tel Aviv’s evolving culinary and hospitality scene to guided experiences at producers like Milk and Honey, visitors are discovering a modern Israel shaped by creativity, innovation, and hands-on culture.”
