Over the past four years, Kibbitz & Konnect, Inc. has built a consistent, welcoming in-person community for Jewish singles in Atlanta. In a world shaped by apps and algorithms, this nonprofit is proving that connection still grows best face-to-face.

Since launching, the organization has hosted 45-plus programs designed to make meeting people feel easy and natural. Offerings range from tradition-centered Shabbat services and dinners to relaxed social outings like happy hours, wine tastings, and an outdoor concert.

Activity-based events—cooking classes, dance lessons, and Atlanta Jewish Film Festival (AJFF) movie outings—spark conversation and lower the pressure. For those seeking more structured opportunities, Kibbitz & Konnect also hosts speed dating plus workshops led by divorce coaches and relationship experts.

The goal isn’t just a full calendar — it’s real relationships. Each program is designed to help participants expand their social circles, deepen Jewish connection, and, for some, meet a life partner. Many people return because they’ve found a genuine sense of belonging.

An advisory board helps guide Kibbitz & Konnect’s vision and growth, and the organization is now looking to expand the board. If you’re passionate about community-building for singles — and bring skills in areas like programming, partnerships, marketing, fundraising, or nonprofit governance — there’s an opportunity to help shape what comes next.

At its core, Kibbitz & Konnect creates space for people to show up, meet, and build something lasting. Four years in, the community is growing — and the mission remains simple: bring Atlanta’s Jewish singles together in ways that feel real and meaningful.
