LimmudFest 2026 set for May 21-25
The festival will be held at Ramah Darom in Clayton.
Imagine this: five days in the North Georgia mountains. Hundreds of curious, creative Jews from all backgrounds. Torah study overlooking a lake. Late-night Shavuot learning. Soulful yoga. Hiking to waterfalls. Making pickles (yes, really). Kids having a blast in their own drop-off camp while adults dive into big questions about Jewish life today. That’s LimmudFest.
LimmudFest 2026 takes place May 21–25 at Ramah Darom, a stunning mountain retreat in Clayton, Ga. Co-presented by Limmud North America and Ramah Darom, this year’s gathering falls on Shavuot and Memorial Day Weekend — a perfect storm of sacred timing and time off from the usual routine.
What makes LimmudFest special? It’s a choose-your-own-adventure festival of Jewish learning, creativity, and connection. Whether you’re deeply engaged in Jewish life or just Jewish-curious, there’s space for you here. We observe Shabbat and Yom Tov in all public spaces, but within that framework, you’ll find freedom to choose offerings that speak to every kind of Jewish practice and background.
Over five days, you might:
• Study ancient texts with brilliant teachers and fellow learners
• Stay up late for traditional Shavuot learning (with plenty of coffee)
• Sing, drum, dance, paint, and create
• Hike mountain trails and practice meditation in nature
• Wrestle with contemporary questions facing the Jewish world
• Make new friends over kosher meals that are actually delicious
• Watch your kids thrive in drop-off camp while you explore what lights you up
“LimmudFest is a festival of learning, community, music — and joy! A wonderful experience,” says Rabbi David Wolpe, who presented at the 2025 gathering.
Who comes to LimmudFest? Jews of all denominations, families and singles, seasoned scholars and total beginners. People from across the Southeast and beyond who want to spend Memorial Day Weekend differently —learning together, celebrating together, being Jewish together in ways that feel both ancient and brand new.
Guests can choose from comfortable cabins, hotel rooms, deluxe cottages, or bring your tent and camp under the stars; three fresh, delicious kosher meals daily, with snacks and beverages included; drop-off camp for kids (six months and older), plus multi-generational programming.
Early-bird registration is open now! Register by March 2 to receive up to $100 off per adult. Explore the full program, meet presenters, and secure your spot at ramahdarom.org/limmudfest.
