Moishe House Toco Hills Hosts Puppy Cuddle Party

The event was organized with Giant Paws and One Paw at a Time rescue organizations.

The puppy cuddle party was organized with Giant Paws and One Paw at a Time rescue organizations.

“In partnership with local Atlanta pet rescues, Giant Paws and One Paw at a Time, Moishe House Toco Hills kicked off fundraising for the 2026 “We Are” campaign with a Puppy Cuddle Party! In return for a suggested donation of $18, community members were invited to get together in the backyard to play with six puppies and three kittens as a way to destress, connect, and help socialize the animals.

Moishe House also gave valuable visibility to local rescues and spent time as a group discussing the different ways we can get involved in meaningful pet adoption efforts in Atlanta and the surrounding area. Additionally, as a way to thank Giant Paws and support their efforts more directly, Moishe House is arranging a community workday in June to go out to their farm property and get to know the rest of their pups!

“The evening was both entertaining and relaxing, as the puppies showed up with plenty of energy to burn off! After running around for a while, they tired out and started lounging and sleeping in the arms of our community members. All of the puppies were incredibly sweet, but one female chocolate lab mix, Raven, stole the show with her calm demeanor and desire to be held like a purse. The kittens were also very chilled out and enjoyed sitting in their hammocks and eating cat go-gurts from everyone around. We had 15 community members and four unique participants at this event,” said Moushe House resident Avi Lyons.
