Ann Zeider Kaplan passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026. Ann was born in Cork, Ireland to, Abraham and Cheva Zeider, the last of siblings, Sadie, Ethel, Madeline and Shmuel. She emigrated to the United States at the age of 19 to be with close relative, Molly, and her parents, Meir and Cipe Tabaksman. She married Irving Sunshine in 1950 and together they had two sons, Alan and Stan. After Irving’s untimely death in 1954, she raised her two sons until marrying Ted Kaplan in 1965. Ann and Ted became an inseparable team, starting a business; Stag Trailer Supply, later Stag-Parkway together, raising the two boys and eventually travelling the world. In business, she created a strong sense of discipline and reason into environments that constantly changed.

Ann was a remarkable woman, one whose impact touched everyone she came into contact with. She had incredible business intuition, discipline, and significant leadership skills, but most importantly, she had a dramatic impact on her family. She instilled a tremendous value system into her children and grandchildren. Additionally, she made friends all over the world with almost everyone she came into contact with.

Ann is survived by her sons, Dr. Alan (Betty) Sunshine, and Stan (Luci) Sunshine, her four beloved grandchildren and their spouses, Michael (Maya) Sunshine, Justin (Jennifer) Sunshine, Marshall (Meredith) Sunshine, Blake (Adam) Leiber, as well as eight great-grandchildren.
