Obituary: Phyllis Levy Doobrow

Phyllis Levy Doobrow, 82, passed away on Oct. 6, 2024, in Weston, Fla. She grew up in Augusta, Ga., and lived in Charleston, S.C., until moving to Weston, Fla. Phyllis was a cherished member of her community and a beacon of love and warmth to all who knew her. Phyllis leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, remembered as a loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Joel of 60 years; sons, Jay (Bonnie) and Ivan (Joella); and grandchildren, Gabrielle, Jake, Alana, and Jenna. A funeral service will be held at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Menorah Gardens in Southwest Ranches, Florida, where family, friends, and loved ones will gather to honor her memory.
