Rosh Hashanah Message: Melissa Wikoff

I love the idea of reaching for the stars! I wish for our community to make 5784 the year we want for ourselves. Rosh Hashannah is my favorite holiday. Bright, fresh apples, crisp fall leaves, and cooler temperatures. I grew up in New England and the vibrant yellow, red, and orange colors of the trees on our joyful walk from our home to Emanuel synagogue in West Hartford, CT is a permanent association with this holiday in my mind. That walk always brings out a fresh, hopeful feeling in my heart. It’s a time to reflect and plan dreams for the upcoming year. I wish for a happy, healthy, and sweet new year to our community here in Atlanta.
