Early Tuesday morning, Nov. 10, a group of Jewish students at Georgia Tech came together with the support of Hillel and Chabad to set up a display of 242 chairs to bring attention to the hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza.

Students at Georgia Tech honored the 242 hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza with a ceremony on the school campus.

It was positioned on Tech Green in the middle of campus, and many students stopped as they walked past to learn more. Although one student deliberately spat on the grass in front of the display and another raised a middle finger as they passed, many more stopped to share words of support and encouragement.
