Ben Hiller, Holocaust survivor and father of Torah Day School’s Rabbi Moshe Hiller, recently celebrated his 97th birthday.
Ben Hiller, Holocaust survivor and father of Torah Day School’s Rabbi Moshe Hiller, celebrated his 97th birthday Feb. 13. He was surprised with cake and balloons at the LA Fitness in Toco Hills, where he works out nearly every day.
Bruce Kauffman, who helped organize the celebration, described Ben Hiller’s shock. “Ben said, ‘This is the biggest surprise of my life,’ which I find hard to believe,” Kauffman said.
