Fans of “The Bacherlorette” and of former contestant and still-eligible bachelor Grant Hubsher have until Friday, June 1, to enter a JScreen contest to win a date with the New York emergency room physician.

Hubsher “is partnering with JScreen to help educate the country about the importance of genetic screening to help prevent genetic diseases in our future kids,” JScreen says on its contest entry web page. “Not only is Grant handsome, smart, and sweet, but he cares about saving lives, which makes him quite the catch!”

“What could be better than taking you out in New York City for a date with me?” Hubsher says in a promotional video in which he also praises JScreen for saving lives every day through genetic screening for hundreds of diseases.

The date will be dinner at the kosher Wolf & Lamb Steakhouse.

In the online profile for his stint on the ABC reality series last year, Hubsher says “Ice Ice Baby” is one of his favorite songs because he used to sing it at bar mitzvah parties.

You don’t have to get screened to enter the contest, which requires basic contact information, your city and an answer to “Why would you like to date the batchelor?” But a link to request the $149 at-home test is right there for the clicking.
