To the Editor,

I need to share my opinion and let this roll off my shoulders. I started to watch the Grammys last week, but, unfortunately, their focus on Ice Out turned me and the television off. While I respect their right (and the right of many of the participants) to voice their opinion, and I appreciate their right to voice their opinion, I hope they have the same respect for me when I let them know that I will take a 10-year hiatus from the Grammys. In addition, I will take a one-year break from purchasing new music. I find it hard to support an organization, or people, who support defiance, harassment, and aggression to our police (whether they be local, state, or federal). That is not what I have taught my children, and it runs contrary to how I live and respect my community and country.

Michael Morris, Atlanta, Ga., Atlanta Jewish Times owner and publisher
