Popular Jewish reggae singer Matisyahu performed acoustic sets at the Marcus Jewish Community Center’s Morris & Rae Frank Theatre on Saturday night, Jan. 7, and at City Winery Atlanta on Jan. 8. Both shows, his first in metro Atlanta since December 2005, were sold out. Now five years removed from an image transformation that moved him away from a hasidic look, the singer was back sporting a beard and long, pulled-back hair.
