Dr. Robert (Bobby) Berlin, 91, of Sandy Springs, Ga. (born in Atlanta, Ga), devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was the adored son of Irving and Belle Berlin, both deceased. Bob was the beloved husband of Harriet and the cherished father of his daughters, Toby, Nancy, and son, Richard (Sue Feig). His family was truly his pride and joy. He was treasured as “Bobby or grandpa” by his granddaughters Emily Berlin, Natalie Rosenbaum, and Isabel Berlin.

He was also loved by his sister, Suzin Berlin (deceased), his sister, Sherry Fleischman, brother, Doug Berlin (Arlette), nephews, Joe Fleischman (Iliana), Josh Berlin (Katie), and Andy Berlin, as well as numerous loving cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Bob met his beloved wife, Harriet (the love of his life) in college, and eventually settled in Atlanta to build a life together. There, they created not only a beautiful family but also a thriving dental practice and a close-knit circle of friends — an extended family who shared countless celebrations and life milestones.

Dr. Berlin was a dedicated and compassionate dentist who took great pride in his work, continuing to practice well into his 80s. Beyond his professional life, he was an avid poker player, sports fan, and a lover of dogs, movies, and cars. His enduring sense of humor and kindness to everyone will be remembered forever. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation.

The funeral was held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, at Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mount Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328 with Rabbi Brad Levenberg officiating. Arrangements by Dressler’s Jewish Funeral Care, 770-451-4999

Shiva was held Tuesday, Feb. 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 18, 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Thursday, Feb. 19, 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the home of Richard Berlin and Sue Feig, 5483 Oxford Chase Way, Dunwoody, GA 30338.
