Obituary: Shelly Ann Kersh Colin

Shelly Ann Kersh Colin, of Greensboro, N.C., formerly of Atlanta, Ga., passed away on Sunday Feb. 22, 2026. Shelly was married to the late David Colin for 59 years. Shelly is survived by her children, Beth (Jim) Hawkins of Greensboro, and Joann Koblitz of Atlanta, grandchildren, the late Bronwyne Bowra of North Carolina, and Megan (Preston) Bradford; and her two fur puppies, the late Oscar and Opie Colin. Shelly was the oldest of her two sisters, Jill Kersh, and the late Bonnie Kersh Boaz, both of Atlanta.

She was loved dearly by many nieces and nephews. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, Feb. 25,2026 at the Hebrew Cemetery in Greensboro, N.C. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or a charity of choice. Dressler’s Jewish Funeral Care, 770-451-4999
