Oct. 7 Memorial to be Held in Sandy Springs
“Together We Remember, Together We Sing” will be held on Oct. 7 at a location in Sandy Springs.
Three years after the tragedy of the Oct 7th attacks in Israel – in which Hamas terrorists killed or kidnapped more than 1,000 Israeli citizens – members of the community are invited to join a memorial service on Wednesday, Oct. 7, in Sandy Springs (location provided on registration).
Presented by the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta in partnership with the Consulate General of Israel to the Southeastern United States, the event to be titled, “Together We Remember, Together We Sing,” will offer a chance to mourn those who were lost, embrace those who returned, and stand with gratitude for the brave who continue to fight for Israel.
Throughout the evening, there will be opportunities to reflect on the pain endured, the resilience of the Jewish community, and the hope that inspires its future.
Doors open in the evening at 7 p.m., and the program starts at 7:30 p.m. To register, please visit https://jewishatlanta.org/events/october-7-community-gathering/
