Soft light glints off a perfect tuna tartare, studded with cucumber and sesame. At the next table, pillowy buns encase craggy smash burgers, the play of texture so addictive that guests linger, debating a second … or third. Flavors are punctuated with the perfect libation, and you realize that whatever delights your taste buds, you’ll find it here.

More than Atlanta’s premier food event, Jewish Family & Career Services’ The Tasting Experience is just that: an experience. Held in the industrial-chic Stave Room with its soaring ceilings and swaths of soft lighting, the event unites Jewish Atlanta in all its generations; young professionals mingle with longtime patrons, and it’s not unusual to see entire multigenerational families saying “cheers” in cocktail attire. Around you, the room hums as old friends reconnect, new ones are made, and there’s a shared sense that this is exactly the place to be.

The star of the show is Atlanta’s very best food and beverages. More than 25 of the city’s top restaurants, caterers, and liquor distributors, from High Roller Sushi and Zest Catering to Fifth Group and Added Touch, offer new standouts and longtime favorites. Your culinary travel will take you to Japan, South Africa, Israel, Korea and more. The tastes are perfectly portioned and thoughtfully curated to meet the needs of everyone, including kosher and vegetarian options. Drinks flow from expertly crafted cocktails and fine wines to the signature HAMSA mocktails, ensuring everyone finds their perfect pairing.

Guests taste the good life as the silent auction tempts from the center of the room. Whether you’re looking for a core-memory-worthy vacation, or maybe a unique experience with a good group of friends, consider the silent auction as the first stop for your future memories. Exquisite jewelry and memorabilia for the most passionate collectors are ready to be the perfect gift for someone special, or for yourself. Who knows what you might leave with: a special souvenir, a new favorite wine, and maybe even a new connection.

The cherry on top? Every bite, bid, and sip goes to support JF&CS’ Intellectual & Developmental Disability Services. These services (Independent Living, Supported Employment and our Community Access Day Program) empower JF&CS’ clients to live full lives as independently as possible. Just by attending, you’re empowering lives and strengthening the community. All food and drink are graciously donated by the featured chefs and liquor distributors, reflecting their investment in and support of JF&CS’ services.

Is The Tasting Experience a … date night? Community reunion? Feast? Wine tasting? Vacation shop? Gift destination? Yes to all. Experience it for yourself from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., April 30. Cocktail attire. Tickets and sponsorships available at thetastingexperience.org.
