‘Tomorrow’ Is Today for AJA’s ‘Annie’
Atlanta Jewish Academy students raised the curtain on their version of “Annie” on Wednesday afternoon, March 9, with fifth-grader Miriam Burmenko in the role of the title orphan. A second cast, featuring fifth-grader Sara Goldberg as Annie, takes the stage Thursday at 7 p.m. for the official opening night, and each cast will deliver a second performance Sunday (one at 11 a.m., the other at 4 p.m.).
