2021 Mother’s Day Tribute: Shelley Besnoff

My mother is world’s best grandmother to my two sons. She loves to bake with them and has so much patience letting them help. She reads them books, takes them on walks, and is always playing with them. Back in 2014 she lost my father suddenly; they were married for 42 years. She has been on her own and working so she can take care of herself. She has a lot of days where she feels very down, but her grandchildren can always make her smile! Whether it is a Skype session, pictures of them in a text, a card that we send her, or when she visits us, they are the reason she is able to love life. ”
