Jewish Atlanta Favorites 2017: Public High School

Dunwoody High School is the 2017 Jewish Atlanta Favorite Public High School

“We are pleased to be nominated as the favorite public high school of the Atlanta Jewish Times and to be selected as the winner. We love the Dunwoody community and enjoy putting our mission into practice … to ensure the success of all students, to enable them to become lifelong learners and to be productive members of an increasingly diverse society,” said Melanie King, the principal’s administrative assistant.

“Dunwoody High School is a special place. The individuals who represent our school care deeply about our school and one another.  Our theme this past year for the Wildcat Way tradition is ‘We Are One’ — a body of students, faculty, staff, parents and alumni who embrace diversity. Our population consists of many different backgrounds and cultures. It is truly an inspiration to see how well the Wildcat family relates to one another, allowing our differences to bring about unity, understanding and lasting friendships. Thank you for honoring us in this way.”
