AJA’s Sadinoff Awarded Prestigious Stamps Scholarship
Gila Sadinoff recognized among top 1 percent of admitted students nationwide.
Atlanta Jewish Academy (AJA) proudly announces that senior Gila Sadinoff has been named a Stamps Scholar at Georgia Institute of Technology, one of the nation’s most competitive merit scholarships.
Selected from approximately 43,000 Early Action applicants, only 50 students are ultimately awarded the Stamps Scholarship, placing recipients among the top 1 percent of admitted students. The scholarship provides a full-ride, covering tuition, housing, meals, books, and fees, along with additional funding for enrichment and leadership opportunities.
“Gila represents the very best of Atlanta Jewish Academy,” said Rabbi Avi Levitt, head of school. “She is an exceptional student, a talented choreographer and dancer, and a deeply compassionate individual.”
At AJA, Gila served as choreographer for “Chagiga” for three years, was a member of the Palette layout staff for four years (including two years as layout editor) and was co-president of the Women in STEM Club. She also helped lead Shabbat dancing and welcomed new students through AJA’s Ambassadors program.
“I am excited to pursue aerospace engineering while also exploring dance and travel opportunities at Georgia Tech,” said Sadinoff. “I’m especially looking forward to joining the Jewish community on campus.”
