2021 Mother’s Day Tribute: Paula Wieden
Shaindle Schmuckler explains why her late mother Paula Wieden shaped into the woman she is today.
Shaindle Schmuckler spreads her energy and humor as a regular contributor to the Atlanta Jewish Times.
Paula Wieden – Died in 1983
Mom was an immigrant from Poland. When she married, her dream was of having American-born children, living a typical American lifestyle. She had three fiercely independent girls whose way of lives she yearned to understand. Finally, by the end of her life, she was able to make peace with these differences. Her strength and guidance allowed us to grow into strong Jewish leaders and moms.
