A Passover Message from Diana Cole
Diana Cole shares her thoughts and inspiration for Passover this year.
This question about this holiday is deeply personal to me. My beloved Father, Alan H. Friedman passed away expectantly/unexpectantly this past January. The last few months have been rough. Especially since I am now an “orphan.” You see my mom passed away when I was a young child of ten, and it has always been my father, brother, and me. Now it is my brother and me from our family of origin. So, it is difficult and a change for me.
I was given the task of scanning all the pictures of our family. I am revisiting the happy times of my grandparents, my parents, and my childhood. I am reminiscing of all the times that my family shared and am celebrating the happy and sad times. Even though all of my grandparents and parents are gone, I am still learning valuable lessons from their photographs.
