Engagement: Robbins – Janis

Ian and Roni Robbins of Marietta are overjoyed to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lena Robbins, to Sam Janis, son of Howard and Nan Janis of Greensboro, Ga.

Lena and Sam met in 2022 at the University of Georgia. Sam received his master’s in accounting there and is a CPA in Atlanta. Lena received her master’s in speech-language pathology at the Medical University of South Carolina. She is a pediatric speech-language pathologist in a private practice in Atlanta.

Lena is the granddaughter of Shirley Kayne and the late Steve Kayne of Asheville, N.C., and the late Allen and Diana Robbins of Delray Beach, Fla.

Sam is the grandson of Cindy Janis of Atlanta and the late Michael Janis and Mary Lynn Alltmont and the late Charles Alltmont of New Orleans, La.
