Obituary: Dr. Lisa Fetherolf

Dr. Lisa Fetherolf, age 42, of Nokomis, Fla., died June 21, 2026. She is survived by her loving fiancé, Derek, sister, Lauren, brother-in-law, Adam, and niece and nephew, Aaliyah and Gordon.

Dr. Lisa was born Oct. 18, 1983, to Edward C. Fetherolf and Norene G. Fetherolf (nee Gordon). She grew up in Sarasota, Fla., and graduated from Pine View School for the Gifted. Dr. Lisa went on to pursue her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Emory University and Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University. Dr. Lisa practiced chiropractic in Atlanta, Ga., and throughout Sarasota County, Fla. She was on the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and earned the prestigious recognition as Top Chiropractor.

In her free time, Lisa enjoyed caring for her animals, consisting of dogs, birds, fish, and snakes. She especially loved hosting beautiful get-togethers and holiday gatherings at her home year after year, inviting all of those she held dear. Dr. Lisa will be missed beyond words.
