Sister Act: Brightworks Dentistry’s Next Chapter

For Dr. Patrice Robbins, growing Brightworks Dentistry across Atlanta has always been about more than adding locations. It has been about building something meaningful, rooted in relationships, community and a vision for what dentistry can be.

But the newest chapter may be the most personal one yet.

Robbins has welcomed her younger sister, Dr. Evie Reiter, to practice at Brightworks Dentistry’s Downtown Atlanta location, bringing the two sisters together professionally for the first time.

Robbins is 12 years older than Reiter. By the time Reiter was thinking seriously about her future, her big sister was already building a career in dentistry.

“I always joke that Evie is my baby sister because she really is,” Robbins said. “She grew up watching me go through dental school, become a dentist and eventually build my own practice. To now have her practicing alongside me as we grow Brightworks is pretty surreal.”

What began with one practice has grown into Brightworks Dentistry, with locations in Dunwoody, Buckhead and Downtown Atlanta. The practices were recently united under one name while maintaining the relationships and personalities that make each location unique.

The Downtown practice has served Atlanta for more than 30 years and is entering its next generation as longtime dentists retire and Brightworks continues the legacy they built.

Located on the Lower Lobby level of the Truist building, the practice is ideally positioned to serve professionals working Downtown, offering comprehensive dental care conveniently during the workday.

Reiter is helping carry that history forward while bringing her own personality and approach to the practice.

“Evie and I are very different, and I think that’s part of what makes this so much fun,” Robbins said. “She gets to bring her own style, her own relationships with patients and her own ideas to Brightworks. I don’t want her to be another version of me. I want her to build something that feels like her.”

The sisters share a belief that great dentistry starts with relationships.

Brightworks focuses on creating practices where patients feel known, comfortable and genuinely cared for, while investing in technology and comprehensive services that allow patients to receive more of their care in one place.

Downtown is expanding its offerings to include Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry and smile makeovers, implants and implant-supported dentistry, sleep medicine and comprehensive treatment.

Brightworks is the dental home for busy professionals working Downtown that combines convenient, comprehensive care with the personal relationships patients have valued for decades.

But ask Robbins what she is most excited about, and she talks about her sister.

“There’s something incredibly special about building a business and then realizing your little sister is now part of building its future,” Robbins said. “I’m proud of what Brightworks is becoming, but having Evie here makes this chapter completely different.”

Brightworks may now have three locations across Atlanta, but its newest chapter feels remarkably close to home.

Sometimes growth means getting bigger. And sometimes it means bringing your baby sister along for the ride.
