ADL Southeast Welcomes Young as Regional Director
Todd Young brings more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience to the fight against antisemitism and hate across the Southeast.

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is proud to announce the appointment of Todd Young as the next regional director of ADL Southeast. Young brings more than two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, community relations, strategic consulting, and fundraising, and will lead ADL’s efforts to combat antisemitism and all forms of hate across the Southeast.
Throughout his career, Young has served on strategic planning committees, led teams in implementing new initiatives, directed capital campaigns and major fundraising efforts, and strengthened organizational sustainability. He is also an experienced educator and speaker, having delivered lectures and workshops to diverse audiences on historical and policy-related issues. His leadership style emphasizes collaboration, data-informed decision-making, and mentorship, empowering teams and emerging leaders to thrive.
“I am honored to step into this role at ADL Southeast,” said Young. “At a time when antisemitism and extremism are increasing, it is critical that we work together to protect the Jewish community and ensure a more just, inclusive society for all. I look forward to partnering with our staff, lay leaders, and allies across the Southeast to advance this essential work.”
Young succeeds David Hoffman, who has served as interim regional director since July.
Based in Atlanta, the ADL Southeast region covers Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina. For more information about ADL Southeast, visit Southeast.ADL.org.
