Repair the World Preps for Days of Jewish Service
The volunteer program will address food access, immigration support, environmental care, and more.

Throughout April, Repair the World’s National Days of Jewish Service (NDJS) spring activation will offer more than 500 volunteer opportunities nationwide, addressing food access, immigration support, environmental care, and more. Led by Repair’s Michael Kay Jewish Service Ambassadors, programming is organized around key April themes: Passover, Earth Day, Holocaust Remembrance, and National Volunteer Week.
“Passover is a time to ask how we can strengthen one another and meet the urgent needs of our communities,” said Melissa Levine, senior director of field activation at Repair the World. “NDJS is how we turn that question into action. Coinciding with our Ambassador Blitz to power 500 ambassador-led programs by April 30, thousands of volunteers will show up across the country, building new relationships and addressing urgent local needs.”
Locally, Repair the World Atlanta will celebrate Earth Day with Adamah ATL. They will partner with Peachtree Creek Greenway as they remove trash from the North Fork Peachtree Creek, which flows into the Chattahoochee River.
Repair the World’s NDJS three annual service activations centered around key moments throughout the year — offering the framework, funding, and tools to strengthen local communities and unite the global Jewish community. The first two NDJS centered on the Jewish High Holidays and MLK Day. Repair the World expects to reach 10,000 volunteers across the three activations.
“Every year at Passover, we retell the story of what it means to be freed — and every year, that story asks something of us,” said Levine. “Jewish service ambassadors answer this call as leaders on the ground, building partnerships with local nonprofits and engaging thousands of young adults in meaningful service rooted in Jewish values.”
