- Federation has hired a chief impact officer.
- Chabad of Georgia holds the annual Kosher Food & Wine Atlanta tonight at 7 at Mason Fine Art, 415 Plasters Ave., in Atlanta’s Armour Junction. In addition to getting your fill of fine food from Atlanta’s kosher caterers and restaurants, you can sample premium kosher wines and celebrate honorees Rita and Michael LeVine and Yaarit and Ian Silverstone. Tickets are $90 at the door.
- The Atlanta Jewish Film Festival continues with nine screenings today: “Norman Lear: Just Another Version of You” (twice); “The Freedom to Marry”; “Riphagen”; “Dirty Wolves”; “The Green Park”; “Radio Days”; “Beyond the Mountains and the Hills”; and “The 90 Minute War.”
- Israeli police have broken into the synagogue in the illegal West Bank outpost of Amona to evacuate the final settlers, who had barricaded themselves inside, The Times of Israel reports.
