Dunwoody Mayor Helps Packaged Good

Dunwoody Mayor Denis Shortal joined The Packaged Good and Pebble Tossers for a project to help the homeless at The Packaged Good’s Dunwoody home March 3.
About 100 people, most of them youths, participated in activities such as painting doors and dressers, making care packages and placemats, and learning about homelessness. The projects benefited Dwell With Dignity, CHRIS180 and Hope Thru Soap.
“I am so immensely proud of our community, who, along with outstanding nonprofit organizations like The Packaged Good and Pebble Tossers, helps focus our hearts and efforts toward brightening the lives of needy individuals and families,” Shortal said. “It remains more important than ever to create opportunities for volunteers and participants to spread kindness, education and comfort. Our city is fortunate to have people who care enough to take action and make our world a better place.”
