Sanitation Company Donates to MJCCA
The sanitation products will help the center operate safely during COVID for staff and members.
A Marietta sanitation company has been donating some of its equipment to nonprofits. The latest is the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta. It was closed several months because of COVID-19.
“During that time, we put together a playbook on how we could reopen safely and ensure with utmost confidence that we could create a safe environment for both staff and our members,” said CEO Jared Powers.
As part of that effort, Itamar Kleinberger, an active member of the Atlanta Jewish community, offered to donate two sanitization products manufactured by his company, Aguair LLC. Of the partnership and donation, he said in a press release, “The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta is taking the health and safety of its staff and members very seriously, and Aguair’s SaniCart and ClensAir equipment will provide additional layers of disinfection” at the recreational facility.
“We are happy to partner with this institution that reaches out to more than 60,000 individuals of all faiths, ages and backgrounds so that it can continue to provide much needed educational, wellness and cultural programs within the local community.”
SaniCart, a mobile, disinfectant micro-fogger, will be used to sanitize surfaces and air in the preschool and fitness center at the MJCCA, while ClensAir air purifier will remove airborne pathogens in the newly reopened dance studio. These technologically advanced sanitization equipment are helping the facility get back to a new normal, and they help “create awareness that the MJCCA is doing everything we can to keep the virus out of the building,” Powers said.
